Halloween Safety Event

Each year the Brainerd Police Department teams up with local businesses and associations to make Halloween activities safer for area children.
Our annual Halloween Safety Event is a big success! Over 900 children stop by the Police Department during the annual event and receive a glow necklace, a trick-or-treat bag, candy, and stickers from our volunteers. The children also have an opportunity to meet McGruff the Crime Dog.
