Campsites average 40 feet by 55 feet in size.  There is 30 and 50-amp electric and water hook-ups, free Wi-Fi, fire rings and picnic tables at each site.


To make a reservation, call or e-mail the Parks and Recreation Department at 218-828-2320 /  Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  We begin taking reservations in January for the calendar year.  Online reservations will be available in the future.

Daily Rates (Taxes Included)

Daily check-in is at 1 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. Fees are as follows:

  • Standard rate:  Sun-Thu: $40   Fri-Sat: $45   Holidays and NHRA week:  $45
  • Seniors 55+ rate:  Sun-Thur: $35   Fri-Sat: $40   Holidays and NHRA week:  $40
  • Off-Season rate (electricity/Wi-Fi only):  $25
  • Firewood:  $5 (purchase from the campground host)
  • Dump Station:  $5 (no charge to our guests)


Tent camping is not allowed. We do not offer weekly or seasonal rates. The campground opens May 1 and stays open until October 31, however, water/dump station/restrooms will be shut down at the discretion of management when freezing nighttime temperatures are a possibility, at which time the off-season rate would apply. Electricity and Wi-Fi are on through October 31.

A two-day minimum stay is required on weekends and holidays. A one-day, non-refundable deposit is required for holidays, NHRA Nationals weekend and groups of three or more sites.  Credit card payments are only accepted during regular office hours, and the campground host can only accept cash or checks.

The City of Brainerd reserves the right to release any site after 4 p.m. unless a late check-in was arranged.  Must call by 4:00 on Friday for a late Saturday or Sunday check-in. 

To reduce the risk of tree disease, only firewood purchased from our campground is allowed in the park.
